About the event

Join us for a sacred Winter Women's Healing Circle

With a warm, heart-opening, gentle cacao brew, we will dance in the truth of interconnectedness & Oneness.

With mainstream structures and tools having binary roots, we will devote this space to slowing down and plugging into our Oneness. This is the path to peace.

In Lak'ech - A Mayan greeting "You are my other me". This is an honouring for each other and a statement of unity.

Aho Mitakuye Oyasin - A Lakota saying "All my relations" or "We are all related". To petition God on behalf of everyone and everything on Earth. Honours the sacredness of each person's individual path, honours the sacredness of all life (human, animal, plant)

May All Human Beings Remember That We Are All One

ABOUT CEREMONIAL CACAO AND CONTRAINDICATIONS

Different from the chocolate you usually find in stores that contains added sugars and other ingredients, ceremonical-grade cacao is raw and pure and often revered in Indigenous South American ceremony and ritual as a means of opening the heart and connecting with Spirit. Therefore, it bodes well for circle and other mindful self-development work. Other benefits include boosting energy and focus. Ceremonial Cacao is high in antioxidants, and may support cardiovascular health, by lowering blood pressure, improving blood flow and reducing the risk of heart disease. It may also have positive effects on mental health, improving mood and reducing stress and anxiety.

Contraindications: It's important to be mindful of your needs and limitations when drinking ceremonial cacao, as it contains caffeine and theobromine which some are sensitive to. In these cases, side effects include: jitters, insomnia or digestive discomfort. If you are unsure, and/or if you are pregnant, nursing or on medication, it is always best to consult your health professional before consuming ceremonial cacao.

BLUE LOTUS/CEREMONIAL CACAO DISCLAIMER

It is each participant's responsibility to become familiar with the contraindications of Blue Lotus Tea/Ceremonial Cacao before consuming.  Please consult a health care professional before drinking Blue Lotus Tea/Ceremonial Cacao for health or medical reasons, particularly if you are unsure, pregnant, nursing or on any medications. The Yemaya Centre for Reiki & Wellbeing, Helene Collard or Barbara Kosa cannot be held liable for the use or misuse of Blue Lotus Tea and Ceremonial Cacao.
